As a kid I we used to go on long road trips all the time, when you’re that young there’s a love hate relationship with long drives. There’s something magical about bundling yourself into that small metal box with your family on a dark chilly morning, to get that head start under the stars. But young souls are always restless and don’t like to sit still for too long. Fast forward (only a little bit, I swear!) and I love long drives. The drive to Em and Martin’s gorgeous wedding in Port Lincoln was beautiful and peaceful, the countryside of south Australia gently rolling past my window.

The drive itself led beautifully into Em & Martin’s natural wedding, a relaxed and peaceful day full of all the good vibes. Their little ceremony setup on a secret dirt road surrounded by trees either side was a little bit magical. As was the amazing sunset that glowed over the hills. And I love how their celebrant Nguahuia described the rain both before and on the morning of the day as just washing the earth clean for their ceremony. As I said, all the good vibes and more.
