Personal Files: Making Namkhas with Friends
Personal Files: Making Namkhas with Friends
We’ve all said it, we’re all thinking it. What a bloody hard year 2020 has been. Starting with our Country on fire, and what more needs to be said about the madness of a global health pandemic? But from hard times comes the opportunity to more truly appreciate the good times, and the little moments not normally celebrated. Like special and beautiful evenings spent with friends, creating, laughing and exploring our natural world. Documenting our day to day, unposed and real. It’s a passion of mine that fits nicely with my passion for photography, and the natural approach I take to making portraits and capturing candid treasures.
My husband and I spent a Sunny Winter’s day with some amazing friends, as they introduced us to the magic of weaving Namkhas. We share beverages, and meals, walks through their backyard (which happens to be magnificent!), more beverages of adult variety, and time around the fire. It’s special to be able to share these personal moments here, and I hope to make more of a habit out of it. xo
