This was a wedding day full of all the good things. Fairy bread, close friends, loving family, a stunning setting, some cool cars, lots of laughs and a night filled with dancing. It felt like a casual party, just fun. No stress, good food, drinks, dancing and all of Georgie & Chris' nearest and dearest.

With beautiful greens from living plants surrounding us not just during portraits at the Botanic Gardens, but also in the gorgeous reception room of Ayers House. Coupled with the endless charm of the classic decor of Ayers House, and you have beauty all around.

What I didn't expect to find, literally almost on my doorstep, was a unique and beautiful location I would be dying to use for a photography session. With a very Aussie reserve, rolling red, eroded hills, and just a short walk through this, a secret entrance to a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach.

El & Tom were one of those couples who perfectly suited Bungree station too. They and their wedding day were authentically relaxed, a proper country wedding but with a definitive touch of elegance. Suiting the venues long country roads, rolling paddocks, rustic buildings but definite country garden charm.

Kelly and Erin initially booked me to photograph their wedding a few years ago, but when it looked like Australia wouldn't be getting their act together on same sex marriage for a long while they decided to postpone the celebrations. But not to postpone living their life, a happy couple together with a happy future, ready to start at family. And what a gorgeous family!! I just wanted to give Archie the biggest, squishiest cuddles she is so adorable!

Every interaction I had with them showed a beautiful love and connection that was a joy to capture on their perfect wedding day. A small, intimate and lovingly styled cocktail wedding at Beach Road Wines in McLaren Vale. With soulful acoustic tunes from the talented Shannon Lloyd, a perfect as always, personalised ceremony by the gorgeous Pen Carrick and bright pops of colourful flowers by Turquoise Rose dotting the scene.
