I had an amazing weekend, spending time with 4 loved up couples from Encounter Bay to Lyndoch. It reminds me just how wonderful my job is after a weekend like this! My last stop for the weekend was a gorgeously rustic engagement session with Steph and Jordan in Lyndoch. We started at Sandy Creek conservation park, a beautiful reserve that we shared with kangaroos.

Read MoreOn Sunday afternoon I got to hang out with the coolest couple at their amazing secret hideaway in the Barossa Valley. A gorgeous little B&B complete with vineyards, private pond, paddle boats and a team of friendly ducks ready to investigate any new human who may be bearing gifts of biscuits or bread. Christie & James are the sweetest, we walked around the grounds with beer, wine and a cheese picnic in tow, took the boat out for a spin, fed the ducks (over and over again, they are stomachs on legs), and had a little sing along. All while the beautiful, bright sun made its way down to the horizon.
Read MoreOn sunny Saturday Tara, Mark & I caught up at the always beautiful Botanic Gardens to capture some engagement portraits. Tara and Mark are both so much fun to be around. Coupled with the stunning settings of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and some intense light it made for a great shoot.

It was however, Carmel's favourite beach and a place she visits all the time. I'm not surprised! We're so lucky in South Australia to have some stunning swimming beaches, and Grange Beach near the Tennyson Dunes is no different. Troy & Carmel are just the most gorgeous couple, inside and out! Both successful and creative entrepreneurs, and so perfectly suited to one another.
Read MoreI love it when engagement portrait sessions turn into photography adventures! That’s exactly what happened on Sunday when Candice, Andrew & I ventured to one of my favourite places in the world! Second Valley. Candice & Andrew were willing to brave steep slippery slopes, wet toes, thousands of tiny pebbles and hundreds of giant boulders. Nature is just so amazing, and we took full advantage of it’s stunning sky, natural frames and crazy beauty.
My connection with Candice & Andrew proves that Adelaide really is a small and connected place, and by pure coincidence we’re only separated by friends of friends or family. Which isn’t surprising, cause these guys aren’t just awesome people, they’re super nice and just brilliant to be around too! I can’t wait to capture your wedding memories soon guys! xx
Read MoreI love meeting new people, especially when they're two beautiful souls in love like Rebecca and Albert. People always say Adelaide is so small, because every one knows everyone, and that's one of the things I love about this city! We're all so connected.
Read MoreI say it all the time, I absolutely love South Australia and couldn't think of a better place as a wedding photographer with such a variety of beautiful locations. When it comes to beach portraits though, I will always say - let's go South!! Our southern coastline is stunning, crystal clear water (or big beautiful waves), long stretches of white sand, rolling barely fields and epic sandy cliffs. On super sunny Friday I headed on down to one of my fave South beaches with the adorable Krystel & Liam. Just 30 minutes before sunset we began our little walk to the beach, where we sat on rocks, got our feet wet, played with seaweed moustaches and finished with a perfect little picnic. I cannot wait to capture your wedding in January guys! xx

Read MoreYou know Spring is in the air when the trees start to grow their green coats, the flowers begin to blossom and the sun decides he's going to stick around a little longer and start warming things up. We've been so lucky to have so many beautiful and warm springs days, especially gracing the weekend! Sunday was another one of those sunny, light filled days.
