We all remember that record breaking hot day last week, nearly 47 degrees in Adelaide, the hottest day on record since the 30s! Kate and I (the celebrant I work with at Our Wild Love Elopements) decided to keep the record breaking heat going with a road trip to Broken Hill to capture Claudia and Nug’s beautiful wedding day. Prior to this though, we decided to do a a simple little engagement shoot with their beautiful daughter Livy. To keep our energy up for the big day, we decided to keep the session short and indoors.

Their sausage dog kransky came along when they collected their wedding USB, a little more grown up for this session he accompanied their newest family member baby Isla. Who is so adorably cute that even when she was grumbling and teary she looked sweet as a button. We started their family session in their family home, before heading to a nearby park for the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor portraits. Congrats on your beautiful baby girl guys! x

The Himeji Gardens really is a hidden gem of Adelaide, if you don’t know it’s there you could just walk straight past it. With a gorgeous little rock garden and calming pool. A lovely place for natural portraits.

Recently I had a lovely drive to Port Julia on the Yorke Peninsula to capture some natural family portraits on Lauran, Kaleb and baby Rafferty’s rustic family farm.

Read MoreI love capturing family portraits for old wedding clients, especially after they’ve welcomed a new little one to their family. Ellen and Andrew’s beautiful baby boy Callum was such a joy to photograph in their family home. With his cute pensive face and shy little smiles. Photo memories of all those natural moments together as a family.
Read MoreI love it when I get to continue my journey with my beautiful clients as they welcome new family members and love into their lives. This session was made even more special as their session took place close to their first wedding anniversary, with their beautiful little boy Frank who was present in Maggie's belly at their wedding.
Read MoreAfter moving to Maslin Beach, I did as I always do and set out to explore the area. What I didn't expect to find, literally almost on my doorstep, was a unique and beautiful location I would be dying to use for a photography session. With a very Aussie reserve, rolling red, eroded hills, and just a short walk through this, a secret entrance to a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach.
Read MoreThis was a family session that melted my heart a little bit, it was so special. Kelly and Erin initially booked me to photograph their wedding a few years ago, but when it looked like Australia wouldn't be getting their act together on same sex marriage for a long while they decided to postpone the celebrations. But not to postpone living their life, a happy couple together with a happy future, ready to start at family. And what a gorgeous family!! I just wanted to give Archie the biggest, squishiest cuddles she is so adorable!
