Libby & Phil's Valentine Wedding Portraits
You can call it cliche, but I actually love Valentines Day. Driving down to photograph a wedding I saw so many happy couples walking to their dinner, fringe or movie date; holding hands, laughing and smiling. Of course you don't need an excuse to show someone you love them, but it is nice to have one day a year where we can all celebrate love together.
Valentines Day this year was rather a cold and wet affair, but that didn't dampen the happy event of Libby & Phil's small family backyard wedding. A great idea if you're sticking to a budget for your wedding is to book your photographer for only a short time. I was with Libby & Phil for only 15 minutes but was able to capture the whole family looking all dressed up and beautiful. (Photos of the children aren't being shared for privacy reasons).
I love being a part of people's special day, Libby & Phil were so happy together - and the overcast Valentines day light was so soft and beautiful. I hope you enjoy a little look at some of the shots!
