Adi & Aidin's Beautiful Rainy Wedding Day at Middlebrook Estate

It’s been a very wet Spring this year! We’ve had flooding all across Australia with record breaking rainfall. And despite the rain falling for 2 weeks in the lead up to Adi & Aidin’s wedding, and continuing on the wedding day itself, their celebration was perfect.

I met Adi & Aidin at the McLaren Vale motel where they were preparing for the big day. Their outfits were gorgeous! And I especially loved Adi’s bright orange heels and handmade paper bouquets, put together with pages from Jane Austin books. Such a cool idea. The ceremony performed by Penelope Carrick in the warm and dry middlebrow estate was so sweet and perfect. With a gorgeous dinosaur themed love story read by Adi’s brother. (A perfect match for their customised dinosaur lego cake topper).

Adi, Aidin and their relaxed bridal party were troopers! Taking photos with me out in the cool rain with umbrellas. Special thanks to the boys for holding my flash for a few of the shots! Once inside where it was warm and dry again by the fire, the party continued on with one of the happiest and joyful crowds I’ve had the pleasure to see at a wedding.
