Terry & Courtney's Beautiful McLaren Vale Wedding

On Saturday I spent a gorgeously warm and sunny May day with Terry and Courtney on their beautiful wedding day. They had booked two separate rooms at the Casavino Luxury Villas in McLaren Vale, and so were able to prepare for the day side by side but out of view. Right from the beginning there was an air of joy and excitement.

I arrived at Middlebrook Estate not long before the ceremony was set to begin, and as always the ceremony location was beautifully done up. Guests joined me to wait in anticipation, and it was easy to get lost amongst all the bright smiles. The ceremony itself was beautiful and heartfelt, beneath bright blue skies. As we finished with family photos Courtney, Terry and I chased the sun to the amazing rugged coastline.

We arrived just as the sun was dipping down below the horizon, painting the sky in brilliant oranges and purples perfectly befitting the colour scheme of the day. The best thing about the ocean is how it bounces the soft twilight glow of light long after the sun has dipped away for the night. We captured some gorgeous portraits on the field and cliff overlooking the ocean, before making our way down to the soft sand. Courtney & Terry were troopers! Tackling the rocky path barefoot to capture adventurous and stunning portraits. I left the two newly weds to celebrate with their closest family and friends in the beautiful Middlebrook estate.
