Chanel & Dale's Barrister's Block Winery Wedding

Chanel & Dale are good friends of one of my awesome couples, and I have no hesitation in saying now that they are also ranked up amongst my faves too! Laid back but with awesome style, their wedding at Barrister's Block Winery was so so good. The boys had a morning mixed with laughter, beer and last minute ironing overlooking an amazing Blackwood view. And the girls prepared in the gorgeous onsite accommodation at Barrister's Block, with live music ringing out from their balcony and little ones running under foot.

After the beautifully full morning preparing for the ceremony it was finally here! And with barely a speckle of rain they married in a perfectly intimate wedding ceremony. Smiles abounded at this wedding, and why wouldn't they? With two lovely people tying the knot in a gorgeous setting with delicious food, wine and impeccable styling.

Barrister's Block has to be in my top 5 wedding venues, you have an amazing, rustic, open air (yet covered) reception venue, a forrest, deer, geese, a dam, vineyards and rolling hills. With so much beauty around, it was not hard to get some lovely portrait photos only a short stroll away. And talk about the amazing sunset we got! Never despair if you have a slightly stormy overcast day with a little drizzle. If the sun occasionally pops it's head through the clouds you may be rewarded with a sky on fire as it sets. It perfectly complimented the awesome wedding day these two had put together. Beautiful, unique, vibrant and fun! A great way to end the day and in bring in the epic party. (Their band the Montreals was amazing! Check them out on JJJ unearthed and your ears will thank you.)
