Jas & Matthew's Victor Harbour Elopement & the Bluff

One word popped to mind first when it came for me to describe Jas & Matthew, and that is awesome. They are both so laid back, adventurous, kind and loving. From each meeting with them leading up to their wedding to the day itself, every moment spent in their company was a joy. The emotion and energy as they got ready for their special wedding day, through to the moment just before they saw each other was truly palpable. As much as I love weddings, connections and love I think I hold myself together pretty well at wedding ceremonies. But these guys nearly had me in tears.

Following their beautiful and intimate elopement with family in the Soldier's Memorial Garden overlooking the bay we headed off on an adventure. After visiting and climbing the bluff a few weeks ago, I revealed that often I don't make it very close to the top on the actual wedding day due to the challenge of formal attire, shoes and a tight timeline. This was challenge accepted. And yes, we made it right the way to the top. It was so worth it, and so beautiful. Best of all, it was just like spending a beautiful evening with friends. I hope you both had the best night celebrating, and I can't wait to celebrate with you again at your party in a week!

Congratulations Jas & Matthew! xx

The Elopement Party

2 weeks after their beautiful elopement and a relaxing honeymoon, Jas & Matthew celebrated their marriage with friends and family at the Palais, Semaphore. For me, this makes an elopement the perfect balance! Your ceremony is relaxed, intimate, special and adventurous. But! You still get the joy of celebrating with your closest friends and family, and can even (as Jas & Matthew did) have your celebration on an entirely different day!

The mood at the Palais, Semaphore was so relaxed and full of happiness. With a steady flow of finger foods and drinks, it was a beautiful elopement party that celebrated a beautiful marriage. xxx
