April's Dr Seuss First Birthday Party
I don't know anyone who doesn't love Dr Seuss, be they child or adult, young or just young at heart. Such whimsy and wisdom all rolled into one awesome ball, so a Dr Seuss birthday party couldn't be anything but awesome! 'Thing Mum' Jacquie did an amazing job putting everything so generously together. We started the party with a cake smash, but April being too much of a lady thought the beautiful cake was just too good to mush. So she daintily played with balloons and ate her little fondant letters instead. Such a cutie!
A first birthday party is a pretty big deal, and April & her family celebrated it in the best way. Surrounded by their closest family & friends with a huge lamb on the spit, cooked with love by 'Thing Dad' John. It's always so special for me to be able to continue capturing memories for the beautiful couples who's wedding day I have the joy to photograph.
