Last year I photographed the absolutely heart touching garden wedding of Maree and Hugh at Stangate House in Aldgate. And recently I was excited to receive a phone call that they had welcomed a gorgeous new baby boy into the world! I met Maree, Hugh and little Edward at their beautiful home for some photos by the warm wood fire and in the light filled nursery. Before we headed out with their lovely, old golden retriever Cleo.

Driving to this special location I actually bogged my car! (Gotta remember it's little, doh!) But was it worth it? I think so. Just outside of Balaklava (if you can dodge the floods and pot holes) is the Rocks Reserve. It's a darling little spot with a real Aussie feel. A gently running creek, rolling hills, cattle, wattle trees and big beautiful gum trees.

At just 6 days new I met Gretchen and her beautiful family out at Spalding, to capture some natural photos of the little cutie. She was just the sweetest little thing, surrounded by so many proud and completely smitten loved ones. xx
Read MoreWinter is well and truly here, with frequent rainy days, icy temperatures and even a few gusts of wind strong enough to bring down trees! (Which legitimately happened in my neighbours yard mere moments before I left for this shoot.) It’s the season to rug up, sip warm mugs off coffee or tea, and cuddle under giant fluffy blankets. Despite the cooler temperatures, occasional showers and windy days it is still a gorgeous time to get photos done. The same gusts of wind that knocked down my neighbours tree cleared the skies of their overcast mask. Revealing beautiful sunshine for our entire session. A Winter sunshine that glows so softly but beautifully.
Read MoreOn Saturday I spent the afternoon hanging out with 2 of the best people you could hope to meet and photograph at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Having had very wet weather in the lead up to Saturday, I was cautiously keeping an eye on the weather. Whilst a little rain during your shoot can actually be beautiful (as you’ll see), it’s nice if there’s some sunshine and dry moments for frolicking.
Read MoreWinter is definitely here, with many a cold and drizzly day in South Australia at the moment. But that will never stop us from creating beautiful memories! On Thursday I caught up with Jodi, Allan and their gorgeous son Archie at the rustic Sandy Creek Reserve. There was a near 90% chance of rain forecast for the morning! But with luck on our side, we managed to capture some beautiful family portraits and even had some sunshine and a beautiful little rainbow before the drizzle came back.
Read MoreLast week I got to hang out on the rugged southern coastline at Noarlunga with Frances & David. A spot they'd frequented many times, but on this day we decided to explore a little further along the rocks. It's such a cool spot, full of both surfers and fisherman, a stunning boardwalk and an amazing view.
Read MoreSaturday evening was beautiful, whenever we have wet weather we also have moments of gorgeous sun breaking through thick clouds. Saturday evening we had awesome clouds, blue sky and soft glowing sunshine all in one. Even better, I got to spend the afternoon with Sara & Pete for their engagement session at one of my new favourite locations, a little gem hiding away on the South coast just 40 minutes from the city.
Read MoreAs locals will know, the weather on Sunday was a stark contrast to the weather on Saturday. Whilst Saturday was beautifully warm and sunny, Sunday came with weather warnings of strong winds and rain increasing in the afternoon. Before the rain came though, the morning was full of beautiful sunshine and perfect light. The wind was already strong, picking up sand and carrying it across the landscape like a flying carpet. It also carried with it the distant and thick clouds that would later pour down rain. It really was such a gorgeous morning, and I was blessed to brave the strong winds with the gorgeous Shasti and Ruby.
Read MoreOn Sunday afternoon, with the bright sun making its way to the horizon through hazy clouds I caught up with Elizabeth, Sam and their gorgeous 3 kids Bella, Thomas and Lilly. We met at one of South Australia's beautiful National Parks in McLaren Vale, the rustic Onkaparinga Park. A very iconically South Aussie landscape complete with bounding kangaroos and vineyards. Another favourite spot of mine, among the many amazing locations around South Australia.
