Sara & Pete's Creative Engagement Session

Saturday evening was beautiful, whenever we have wet weather we also have moments of gorgeous sun breaking through thick clouds. Saturday evening we had awesome clouds, blue sky and soft glowing sunshine all in one. Even better, I got to spend the afternoon with Sara & Pete for their engagement session at one of my new favourite locations, a little gem hiding away on the South coast just 40 minutes from the city.

Sara & Pete are two people that it just feels great to be around, authentic in every way. We spent the afternoon taking portraits surrounded by succulents to the sound of Saturday Night Fever blaring out of my back pocket. (I highly recommend listening to the same tunes on Spotify here or on YouTube here as you scroll through the photos.) It all added to the fun, laughter and light hearted feel of the session. Sara and Pete met when Sara took photos of Pete and his band, so it just felt right to bring along Sara's camera and involve that in the shoot too. We finished off with some of Sara's favourite champagne watching the sun make its final journey down as surfers caught waves in the distance. Perfect.
