Emma & Alex's Sunny Beach Engagement Session

Summer feels like it's finally on the way, with warm days and sunshine becoming more common. Wednesday was one of those beautifully warm and sunny days, and absolutely perfect for Emma & Alex's engagement session at Brighton Beach. They're such a sweet couple, and naturals in front of the camera. With a session full of love, sunshine and cuddles, I was one happy photographer. I can't wait for their wedding next year!! :)

Vanessa's Natural Family Beach Portraits

As photographers we all find our grooves, we know what we like and what is more difficult for us to work with. As we develop our style and niche certain types of light, places and people will fit perfectly within the mould that we have carefully crafted. Our moulds and grooves are made as any well worn path would be, with consistent practice, and time, they form comforting and familiar spaces. New challenges, new lighting, pushing ourselves to continue to grow and try new things will all enable us to gradually embrace a wider variety of things that fit within our style. Pushing it to become something better.

Jo & Ben's Sunset Engagement Photos at Willunga Beach

We're so lucky to have such amazing light and scenery in South Australia, within a one hour radius of the CBD you have gorgeous bushland, rugged coastline, pristine beaches, sandy cliffs, rustic vineyards, sunburnt fields, forests, lush gardens, grungy old architecture and colourful new architecture, rolling hills and so much more. On Friday, during a beautifully glowing sunset, I got to hang out with two lovely, loved-up people and their energetic dog Charlie at one of my favourite places in SA; Port Willunga.

Stacey & Bradly's gorgeous bridal portraits with horses at sunset xx

After capturing Stacey & Bradly’s wedding recently, I was very excited to catch up with them and their two horses at their beautiful Two Wells property. Blaze and Izzie both fit this magnificent and beautiful description, but on top of that, they had the biggest personalities too!

Huai & Coral's Pre-Wedding Portraits around Adelaide

On Friday we had a beautifully sunny day! I was lucky enough to spend the sunshine filled afternoon with Huai & Coral, capturing some gorgeous pre-wedding portraits all across Adelaide, from the CBD to the beach. Huai & Coral are such a sweet couple, which made the portrait session an absolute dream. After Tallora from Mobile Makeovers Australia worked her magic, we started in the Adelaide Himeji Gardens. Moving through the city from North Terrace to the River Torrens and North Adelaide. Talking a leisurely walk on Henley Beach at sunset, and finishing up back in the city near Victoria Square for some city night portraits by the fountain.

Peter & Kirsty's Port Willunga Beach Engagement Portraits

If it weren't for the coolness in the air, you wouldn't have believed that it was Winter on Sunday. The sun shone brightly with hints that Spring is definitely making its way to us. I had a great time catching up with Peter & Kirsty to plan out some finer details of what will be an epic wedding early next year! Then we headed down to one of my favourite beaches to capture some sunny engagement photos. These guys are awesome, they climbed muddy hills, traversed rocky cliffs and got chilly wet feet with me. All while the waves crashed in a large swell off the white sandy beach.

Emily & Sam's Kuitpo Engagement Session

On Saturday I caught up with the sweetest couple, Emily and Sam at the ever beautiful Kuitpo Forest Reserve. As we come to the end of the last month of Winter we’ve been blessed with warm, Spring like days that remind me of Summer. Saturday was one of those gorgeously warm and light filled Winter days. The sun beautifully dipped in and out of soft cloud cover as we went for a little walk through its warmth in the forest. In true Australian style, joined by a group of curious roos.
