Ben & Charlotte's Geeky Wedding at Henley Surf Life Saving Club
Ben & Charlotte's Geeky Wedding at Henley Surf Life Saving Club
What a wedding this was! And an amazing way for me to bring my busy season "to a close". Dramatic stormy skies, bright pops of colour, geeky touches, impressive dancing, and two just completely lovely, wonderful people. As soon as I met Ben & Charlotte I knew I wanted to capture their wedding day memories. It was beyond evident at our first meeting that they are not only lovely people, but truly and authentically themselves in the most uplifting way.
The wedding day was full of little touches and tributes to their favourite things. From Charlotte's gorgeous Alfred Angelo dress that showed off her Dorothy inspired sparkly red shoes. To the acoustic version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight played by Charlotte's step mum as she walked down the aisle. Very cute little dinosaurs gracing table settings, a reading by Charlottes dad from the lovely other dinosaur, and wedding vows read from carefully handwritten notes in their personal notebooks. Wands and sonic screwdrivers brought out for some fun bridal portraits (yes that Harry Potter inspired wand fight photo was a lot of fun to edit!) And lets not forget lots and lots of dancing, with a spectacular swing dance routine for their first dance and of course, footloose featured later in the evening too.
The cold, wet and stormy weather did nothing to dampen the day. How could it with rainbow umbrella's, sunflowers and so much happiness and love? Everything was perfect. xx
Congratulations Ben & Charlotte!
